I love decor that can be personalized, so I flipped when I saw this chalkboard wall hanging of New York state on Etsy.
With wood trim on the top and bottom, the “any state” chalkboard art is made by Becky, a former display coordinator for Anthropologie, who now lives in Somerset, New Jersey and sells her work on Etsy.com. At the heart of the chalkboard is a simple silhouette of your favorite state.

I’m a New Yorker, born and raised. I plan to hang the New York state piece in my dining room and draw arrows to eastern Long Island, where we spend our summers, the city, where we spend our Saturday nights, and of course, Westchester, where we’ve made a home. Thanks for the great idea, Becky!
