Easter egg hunts are pure magic for kids. Collecting candy and surprises hidden by a big, fluffy rabbit – Oh, joy! We’ve rounded up Westchester’s Easter Egg Hunts. Plus, there are a few chances to meet the big guy himself. Hippitty hop pity. Easter’s on its way…

March 22

Mount Kisco Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Breakfast With the Easter Bunny at The Westchester Mall
8:30am – 10am
125 Westchester Avenue, Food Court, White Plains

No, this one isn’t an Easter Egg Hunt but you do get to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny and how cool is that? Enjoy activities, music, arts and crafts, lots of fun! Special gifts, while supplies last. Kidgits Members receive a Free Breakfast! Reservations required, call 914-683-8892.

Mount Kisco Easter Egg Hunt

For grades 2 and below. Wear your rain boots and bring your own baskets.

Dobbs Ferry Egg Hunt at Gould Park

Gould Park: 90 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry

Bring a basket and help find the thousands of chocolate eggs that have been hidden around Gould Park. Free event.

Yorktown Easter Egg 
10:30am
Downing Park: 2881 Crompond Road (Route 202), Yorktown Heights

Children under age 12 are invited to enjoy an egg hunt, candy and prizes. Children also can try to guess the number of jellybeans in a jar, and they can have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. Rain date is scheduled for March 30.

Easter Egg Hunt at Bartow-Pell Mansion

An Easter egg hunt in their formal garden, Easter crafts and photos with the Easter Bunny. Please bring your own basket. For ages 2–12. Light refreshments offered. Registration requested. Cost: $12 children 2–12; members $10. Rain date Sunday, March 24, 1–3:30 p.m.

Easter Candy Hunt at Westmoreland Sanctuary

The Westmoreland Sanctuary’s 30th Anniversary Egg Hunt begins with a Easter candy hunt and then enjoy games like jelly bean relay and balloon hop relay. Age groups are separated to keep the games fair! Bring your own bag or basket. Event is free.

Scarsdale Spring Eggstravaganza

Enjoy entertainment, Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Please bring your own basket or bag for candy. No registration necessary.

Old-Fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at The Osborn

The Osborn’s South Lawn: 101 Theall Road, between Playland Access Road and Osborn Road in Rye; 914-925-8200

The Easter Bunny promises to join us on The Osborn’s South Lawn with residents, staff and their families. Please bring your basket to collect candy-filled Easter eggs. In addition to the “hunt,” which will take place at 11:15AM sharp, The Osborn will have a $3.50 hot dog + drink + chips + cookie meal available for those who might like to stay to picnic on the lawn. This event is free, open to the public, and will take place rain, snow, or shine.

Harvest Moon Farm Easter Egg Hunt

Harvest Moon’s Easter Egg Hunt on the Farm with activities, prizes and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Free admission for ages 11 and under.
Easter egg hunt will be divided into two groups: Group A – ages 4 and under and Group B – ages 5 – 11.  Please bring your own baskets. After the egg hunt, visit the animals and pick up real eggs from their own chickens. Shop for potted plants, grass fed beef and fresh baked pies for Easter.

Spring Celebration and Egg Hunts at Greenburgh Nature Center

A day of family fun to celebrate the emergence of spring! Visit our barnyard to meet our furry and feathered friends. Follow the herd on an animal parade. Join a naturalist to discover signs of spring from the forest to the pond to the Great Lawn. Search for eggs in a nature-inspired egg hunt. Egg hunt and other fun activities will run continuously throughout the day. Refreshments available for purchase. For discounted rate, register and pre-pay online only by Friday, March 29. Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt at the Ritz-Carlton, White Plains

The Ritz-Carlton is all dressed up for Easter. Seating times for brunch are: 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Children will collect Easter treats and enjoy activities like face painting, balloon art and cookie decorating. They can also take photos with the Easter Bunny. (Please bring you own basket for the Easter Egg Hunt.) The hotel’s culinary team will present a lavish presentation of brunch favorites like a bagel and lox buffet, hot brunch favorites like French toast and pancakes and some special Easter dishes as well.
