every day just got better
I was looking for something super easy (and super festive) to make for a Memorial Day BBQ at my mom’s house on the East End of Long Island this weekend. Of course, I had Harper (and fun!) in mind, so I pounced on this uber-patriotic ice cream sandwich. (Save this one for July 4th too.)

Even though, summer doesn’t officially start until June 21 (I looked it up), Memorial Day feels like the beginning of summer. I can almost hear a county wide shout of “yippee!” for a three day weekend full of summer fun.
