Camp Gan in Greenwich is Offering Its First Ever Theater Intensive Week.
April 6, 2013
If you grew-up in the 1980s, I ‘bet your bottom dollar’ you are as excited as I am about little orphan Annie‘s comeback on Broadway. And if you’re a proud parent of a budding thespian who is itching to try out their acting skills this summer, check out the Intensive Theater Program at Camp Gan Israel in Greenwich. Here, campers will practice and perform in a production of Annie The Orphan. (To participate in the Intensive Theater Arts Week, you must be enrolled in Camp Gan’s popular Theater Arts Camp, best for children grades 1st-6th).

Encourage your kids to soak up summer in the great outdoors.
June 25, 2012
Some of my favorite memories from my childhood include climbing trees, playing in puddles and feeling the delicious freedom that comes from being outside. It’s important to me that my kids grow up feeling connected to nature, so I was curious what nearby camps offer a really great outdoorsy experience. Here are eight nature camps that still have openings…

The Greenburgh Nature Center Camp has several different programs for grades 4-7 from July 9 to August 10. Each camp is designed around exploring the great outdoors, discovering different habitats, interacting with live animal exhibits, all while playing games and having lots of fun. Price is $375 per week for members and $425 per week for non-members. 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale, NY; 914-723-3470 (Above photo courtesy of Greenburgh Nature Center.)
